Punch Hard @ Närcon 2019

We had so much fun showing Punch Hard to the thousands of attendees at Swedens biggest Cosplay fair this weekend! So many people played our game and some even came back to play twice! That poor Viking in the demo really got knocked down so many times we almost felt sorry for him. ?

We want to thank everyone who played our game! It helps us moving forward to make the game even better and we see you all next year! ?

NärCon 2019

Latest progress on Punch Hard

A small update on the progress of our upcoming boxing game Punch Hard. We are currently working with the AI and tightening up the whole game flow of the matches. Our goal is to make each opponents AI as unique as their appearance.

It’s fun to see all the videos currently emerging on YouTube with rumored and confirmed games being developed for the Quest and we hope this game will fit in nicely. We’ve created a YouTube channel of our own and will soon start posting videos from the game.

We are working on RudeMeme 1.1

Now RudeMeme has been out for a couple of weeks and we want to start by saying thanks to everyone who has downloaded it! We truly hope you enjoy the app and have great fun with it! 🙂

We are currently working on a update with some bug fixes and new memes and features. These include among other

  • The watermark text at the bottom is sometimes on top of the meme text. (This happens at certain image resolutions). This is by far the biggest bug we have seen and we hope our fix will solve this issue completely.
  • Speed improvements. We’ve seen on older phones like the iPhone 5s and iPhone SE that it sometimes takes a lot of time when the app generates and writes the text on the image. We hope to have this fixed, or at least improved, on the next version.
  • Also som other minor bug fixes.

A new feature will be introduced!
The app will check which time it is when the user takes the photo and “unlock” certain memes at certain times. For example if the local time is between 00:00 and 03:00 in the night the text might be about finding a date at a bar (or not finding a date). At around 05 the text might be about going to work early and so on. This opens up some really fun possibilities and we hope you will enjoy these new texts. 🙂

We don’t have a date for this update yet but it will be out soon. So stay tuned for more updates.

RudeMeme is now waiting approval

We are very happy to announce that RudeMeme is sent to Apple for review and approval. This means that if nothing pops up RudeMeme should be on the Appstore within a week or so for all you iPhone and iPad users.

Stay tuned for more news and get ready for internet to be the rudest ever.

RudeMeme shaping up for release

After having RudeMeme out on the last beta test we’re happy to annonunce that we will be shipping RudeMeme in the next week or two. With just some finishing touches to go we look forward to seeing your pictures spread like a rude cloud over the net! Oh, and make sure to share your favorite photos with us. 🙂

Do we have a release date for the Quest?

So, it appears that the internet is currently overflowing with rumors about the release date of Oculus Quest. Last year on the Facebook developers conference they released Oculus Go and this years iteration of the same is set to be held on April 30. Now, Oculus previously announced The Quest to be released in the spring of 2019 this would be a perfect opportunity.

Soon everyone will know if there is any truth to this rumor and until then keep it safe.

Punch Hard at LiuGC

Liu Games Conference is an annual Games Conference in Linköping, Sweden where local developers can put their games on display and let the visitors play them, give feedback or cheers.

We displayed a very early build of Punch Hard and got great feedback! Players really liked it and loved punching the Viking we had in our demo. Some had never used VR before but sense our game really is just “pick up the controllers and play” that wasn’t any problems. We did have to stop some from taking the fight to the furniture though.

The game progress is moving along nicely and we’ll soon announce some more of the opponents you can fight in spring 2019.
